| Bio: | Well there's not much to tell. And yet there really is. Just like anyone else I'm all crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Actually I'm not all that crunchy really, just soft all over. I just thought that sounded good. I clean toilets for a living because I'm too scared and anxious to do much else. And becuase if i wanted to do much else, there really isn't anything in this shit heap of a town. And that's the sad truth. I also clean kitchens and showers, but that doesn't make such an impression. Oh but I don't like to define myself by my work....no no no... I'm much more than all that. I am, for instance, starting my own internet company writing erotic novels. I love music, both playing it, (I'm a singer and I play saxophone) and listening to it- i have very eclectic tastes and am always up for something new. I read a lot. I like movies, but i don't seem to have this encyclopdic knowledge of them that so many people seem to have- I don't really have a favourite film and usually a conversation with me about films usually goes like this friend: "you know Julia roberts new one?" me: "No. Who's that then" friends: "You know...she smiles a lot" me: "Was she in scream?" friend (slightly exasperated) "No." me: "Titanic?" Friend: "No. Look, forget it. She's only the most famous movie star in the world. I wouldn't expect you to know who she is" I do actually know who julia roberts is, that was just an example, but you get the jist. You see, the main thing you have to grasp when it comes to understanding me is this (and i'll write it in capitials just so you really get the message:) I HAVE HARDLY ANY MEMORY- THAT IS I CAN'T REMEMBER VERY MUCH. AT ALL. Its not just an excuse for being lazy or scatterbrained...I genuinly have trouble recalling large portions of my life, including what i did yesterday or the name of my favourite band. Its almost a disability, sometimes. Thats why diaries have always been important to me, at least sporadically. Some things i can remember. Some things not. I laugh about it a lot of the time, and make a joke out of it, but it really is quite disheartening to think that i've just completed a three year english degree and can't really remember the title of any of the books i read, let along what happened in them or what i allegedly learnt. sigh. Anyway I'm rambling, and probably being too negative about my life which might give you the impression that this is going to be one of those whiney oh i'm so depressed blogs which it undoubtedly wil be on some days but mostly i am exsessivly happy for the following reasons 1) I am in a wonderful relationship with a boy/man named owen and he makes me very pleased to exist. 2) The world is full of interesting and pleasant things, and i am able to enjoy a lot of them, for example, cheesecake. 3) I have great friends and family. 4) The internet exists, I have broadband, and life is good. there are many more, but i can't think of them now, so i'll let you get on with reading the blog/journal.
